Working on "on my left" * with Remy. Loving the focus as he figures out what I'm asking for even though he is super riled up and wants to move onto our energy outlet games (as you can see at the finish). Distractions happen and we just have to make our expectations clear and try again for a few more successes before it's off to play time!
Every environment can be turned into a training course! Here Remi has to start in a sit, go up the steps, sit, walk over a pile of high value duck jerky treats, lie down, walk down the steps, stop & sit before the line in the sidewalk, walk in a semi-circle, lie down in the "treat square" surrounded by high value rewards, and wait to get praise and treats! Phew! What a hard worker!
I have dedicated my life to animal behavior and welfare... and it shows. Feel free to #askmeanything about #Dogtraining, animal behavior, or anything else zoology related! I'm always happy to nerd out... and if I can help you & your pet, well that'll just be the icing on a perfect cake.
